We provide legal translations to and from Chinese. We translate summons for lawyers, but also notarial deeds, contracts and general terms and conditions.
Translating a legal document requires knowledge of the relevant legal systems as well as awareness of how to translate concepts without causing shifts in meaning. Legalise requires sound grasp of the source language due to long and complicated sentences.
Our translators follow training on a regular basis in order to gain more knowledge about specific industries, including the legal field. This does not mean our translators are legal experts, it means we are willing to flick through a lawbook, dare to ask clarification, know how to look up information and maintain translation memories and terminology lists for future reference.
